Elderly Nursing Care for Mrs. L with Nursing Problems Imbalanced Nutrition Less Than Body Requirements in Medical Diagnostics of Gastritis in Candi Negoro Village Wonoayu Sidoarjo

Abstract
Background: Gastritis is a simple disease so that sufferers often ignore the symptoms they feel, as a result of the client's lack of knowledge to deal with the symptoms resulting in inadequate nutritional intake and causing the client to experience nutritional imbalances less than the body's needs. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the application of elderly nursing care to Mrs. L who suffers from gastritis in Candi Negoro Village, Wonoayu, Sidoarjo Methods: This research is a research that uses descriptive research methods with a mixed-method approach (qualitative and quantitative research). This research was carried out on March 2-9 2021 in Candi Negoro Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research was carried out by applying nursing care for the elderly according to the case. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling by setting inclusion criteria. The research results were carried out by analyzing data on nursing care for the elderly that had been implemented. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that the respondents consumed less nutritional intake according to their needs. This is proven based on a decrease in appetite with client data saying decreased appetite, flatulence and satiety quickly. With this data, the emerging nursing diagnosis is nutritional imbalance less than body requirements related to decreased appetite. Implementation of nursing carried out by researchers in the form of explaining to clients about the importance of nutritional needs for the body, provide information about food that may and may not be consumed by the client, observe food intake, and observe the client's weight. Conclusion: The application of nursing care carried out for gastritis sufferers who experience nursing diagnoses of nutritional imbalances less than body requirements related to decreased appetite are resolved properly, which is characterized by the client being able to adhere to a diet of foods that must be avoided and foods recommended for gastritis sufferers.References
