The 2nd International Conference of Kerta Cendekia is the second international Conference hosted by Poltekkes Kerta Cendekia. The first one was held on September, 7th - 8th, 2019 in Luminor Hotel Sidoarjo. On that time, the instituion name was Kerta Cendekia Nursing Academy therefore the name of conference was International Conference of Kerta Cendekia Nursing Academy. (International Conference of Kerta Cendekia Nursing Academy). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that happen, the conference has been postponed and conducted on virtual method.
The theme of the 2nd International Conference of Kerta Cendekia is Creating a Safe and Healthy Occupational Environment. This event was held to support improving public health of recovering national conditions after the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 2nd International Conference of Kerta Cendekia discussed public health issues, especially those related to occupational safety and health. Therefore, the target of this event is all communities and the health care system. This event was held with expectation to improve the quality of life through changes in lifestyle with refers to occupational safety and health standards.
Scope of articles contained in The 2nd International Conference of Kerta Cendekia includes public health, occupational health and safety, nursing (basic nursing, medical surgical nursing, pediatric nursing, maternity nursing, community health nursing, family nursing, emergency nursing, mental nursing, gerontic nursing, and also nursing management), biostatistics, and psychological sciences.
The 2nd International Conference of Kerta Cendekia was held on November 30, 2023. This event assisted by partner institutions including Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Panti Waluya; Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Dian Husada; Universitas Nazhatut Thullab Al-Muafa; Faculty of Nursing, Burapha University; University Malaya Medical Centre; Hoan My Da Lat Hospital; and Machakos Country Headquarters.
